The modules of the formal specification are generally organized following the functional decomposition presented in the command menubar and outlined in the developer overview. The modules are the following:

• scheduling
• calendar database
• viewing
• administration
• options
• file handling
• data editing

Since the file handling and editing are less germain to the specific functionality of the Calendar Tool, these two modules are presented after the others. In addtion, there is a calendar database module that defines the user- level functionality of the calendar storage repository.
