The operational setting for the Scheduler tool is for it to be normally used as a functioning software system. It is intended to be run in an office setting where department administrators can schedule classes for the next quarter/semester.

The Scheduler tool is intended to be mainly used by the Cal Poly CSC department administrators to schedule classes, with the secondary users being other departments on campus and any other higher education departments that need a better scheduling tool.

As previously stated in the System Personnel section, there is one customer for the scheduler tool and he is the representative for the entirety of the Cal Poly CSC department. He gives the view of the department and has refrained from putting in his own personal input in order to make it general use software.
