Saving Schedules
Generation of a schedule by an Administrator automatically saves the schedule into the existing schedules database. Specifically, the four core databases (Rooms, Courses, Instructors, and Preferences) as well as the generated schedule are saved in the database. Administrators do not manually save; instead, any changes are automatically saved.
Opening Schedules
Schedules are opened by an Administrator through the Manage Existing Schedules functionality, as discussed in Section 2.5.1. Instructors and Student users can open schedules through the View Schedules functionality, as discussed in Section 2.6.2. This opens the saved objects, specifically the four core databases (Rooms, Courses, Instructors, and Preferences) as well as the generated schedule are saved in the database.
