The "Trend Prediction" method predicts unfinished and final grades based on trends in already completed grades. When the user clicks the Trend Prediction button, each unfinished assignment will be given a grade based on the average grade for past assignments of that type. For instance, a student who has received 90% and 80% on two tests, the unfinished test would be filled with 85%. Based on these values, the final grade will be calculated. Figure 1 shows results after the student has clicked the Trend Prediction button.
