1.4. Impacts

Positive Impacts
The impacts of the Scheduler Tool as a functioning system are increased convenience and efficiency in managing the courses of a large university.
Software seeks to improve teachers and students voice by including new feature to record their input.

Negative Impacts
Potential negative impacts include those common to any user-oriented software system. More specific negative impacts relate to issues of privacy, reliability, and data integrity.

Issues such as privacy, reliability, and data integrity will be of little concern unless its development methodology is considered weak to sustain large amounts of information. Such negative impacts can be easily avoided and the positive impacts can be implemented if designed and developed properly.
