2.9.1 Instructor's Recording of a Lecture

2.9.1.1 Introduction

The Recording Window is located at the bottom of overview UI as shown in Figure 2.1.1. The purpose of Recording is to record both audio and video of a lecture to be shown for future review. The instructor will have the option of recording the lecture by following the steps below.

2.9.1.2 Record a Presentation

To start a recording of a presentation, the instructor clicks the record button.

The "Record Time" on the left starts counting upward.

2.9.1.3 Pause a Lecture

To pause a lecture, the instructor clicks the record button again. The timer pauses.

To continue the lecture, the instructor clicks the record button again. The timer continues counting up.

2.9.1.4 Stop Recording

To stop recording, a user may click the stop recording button. The total time of the recording is shown in the recording time box. The recorded file is saved in the course materials section with the name [class]_[date]_[time].
