The
positive impacts of the Test Tool are increased convenience for both the
professor and student end users. The Test tool will

Allow faster generation of tests for professors

Allow for tests that more accurately fit the desires of
the professor for their course

Allow for faster grading for professor efficiency and
for student's personal knowledge (i.e. no more waiting weeks to find out exam
scores)
Some potential negatives of the
Test Tool software include:

Displaced jobs of student/paid graders

Private information, such as student grades, could be
compromised if the software is designed or implemented improperly

May give a disadvantage to students that aren't well trained with computers,
or prefer being able to use pencil and paper to document their work or draw
their answers.

Inconvenient rescheduling could occur if system bugs
prevented the software from operating correctly on test day
