TestGenerator is an online testing application that can be used to generate tests from a question bank as well as administer tests over the Internet or LAN. The instructor can add many types of questions from multiple choice to essays to the question bank and tests are randomly generated from these questions. Questions and users can be imported from various file formats like .csv or .rtf.

Instructors or proctors then activate the tests so that they are available to test takers. Test takers must log into the Tester module and take the test. The tests are then automatically graded and scores can be exported to various file formats. Test takers can also be allowed to give feedback on the test in general or any question in particular for the instructor to see.
