1.5.3. Project Cool
Project Cool is a web site that has been around for more than five years now. It is a solid source for html tutorials as well as other website-related tutorials. It is lacking in many of the main features proposed for the CS Tutor tool, however it provides a good implementation of a tutorial database. It includes many informative and well-built tutorials, however it lacks many of the CSTutor features, as shown below.
Good Features:

covers the basics of tutorials

lets users search through all the tutorial database

good layout and navigation setup

has a glossary of new terms at the end of each pagethem

has inline code provided as examples

inline code has a different colored background

allows users to rate the tutorials

provides for lots of good examples of tutorials

overall it's nice and simple, without a lot of superfluous images and text
Bad Features:

does not link to TOC at end of last lesson

the look may be too basic
Missing Features:

no chat rooms

does not have a tool for creating tutorials

does not integrate quizzes into the tutorials

no tutorial builder

no multi-user features at all

no user or group administration functionality
