1.1 Problem Statement
The problems that the eClass software tool attempts to solve are the following:
- Provide a refined tool that allows professors to create, present, edit and distribute electronic interactive lectures.
- Allow students to participate in the lecture and give them the editing tools to portray their ideas and questions with more clarity.
- Increase the interaction between students and instructors thus adding a greater value to the factor that lectures play in the learning process.
The goals stated above have been addressed before with a combination of different software tools. However, no software before was designed to include all the features that eClass has. By including all these tools in a single package eClass becomes the do-it-all solution that hopes to become the standard software used in future lectures.
