2.4.1.7 Deleting Snapshots and Overlays
To delete a snapshot the user must first have ownership of all of the overlays
contained within the snapshot. To remove a snapshot with ownership of all the
overlays the user can either use the file menu or right-click the desired snapshot.
To delete the snapshot from the file menu the user first selects the desired
snapshot. A selected snapshot will be designated by a box surrounding it. After
selected, the user then selects Remove Selected Snapshot... from the
Snapshots menu item.
To delete a snapshot directly from the Display window, hover over the desired
snapshot and right-click, selecting Delete Linked Snapshot..., shown
in Figure 2.4.1.7a.

The user is then presented with a dialog confirming the deletion of the snapshot,
as in Figure 2.4.1.7c. Upon selecting the Yes button the snapshot is removed,
leaving the lecture without the snapshot icon, shown in Figure 2.4.1.7b.
