1.2. System Personnel

The personnel involved in the EClass project are organized into the following groups and subgroups:

End users are those who use the EClass for its intended purpose. Students who are enrolled in the course can attend lectures conducted in the EClass through networked school computers by logging into their accounts. Students can also access the EClass using individual Internet-linked remote machines. Instructors can prepare and conduct lectures, as well as manage class activities. Guest accounts are for people who are not enrolled in the course but need access to the EClass. All student and guest account names and passwords are set up by instructors.

Professor Gene Fisher is the executive project supervisor. He supervises the following primary system developers in designing this EClass project, they are Justin Glaeser, Nick Lynch, Eric Ross, Cecilia Tsoy, Ross Wampler and Jimson Xu. The executive project supervisor and system developers are also domain experts. In particular, the executive project supervisor will play the role of instructor domain expert and the system developers will play the role of student domain expert as the need arise.
