The Electronic Classroom tool is designed primarily for the Cal Poly Computer Science Department. Secondarily it is designed for other departments within the University. This tool can be used in other environments as well, but it has not yet been designed for other environments.

This software is mostly designed for classrooms, but it will work anywhere with multiple computers networked together. While at home or in class, users can request or look at all of the files allowed by the instructor. The hope is that through use of this software, many users will be able to learn more effectively and teachers will have an easier time portraying information to others.
