1.5.6. eduViz
eduViz is a visualization tool for grade exploration and assignment. It was developed by
students from the University of Maryland Computer Science department. Its main design
is to take a spreadsheet of grades organized by a few categories and represent them as
graphs and histograms to allow ease of reading and analyzing.
eduViz is meant to be a helper program along side a normal grading tool. This means it
does not have any tools that allow for any saving of grades in a spreadsheet format.
In that regard, eduViz is being reviewed as a graphical aide only.
Good Features:

view grades in easy to read bar graphs and dot plots

sliding bar visually displays changes in curve

shows class average on all graphs for easy comparison
Bad Features:

importing data is limited to only .csv spreadsheet files

can only change curve by sliding bar, not numerical input

sliding bar does not work every time and cannot get to accurate numbers

throws error messages if graphs are unable to complete desired task

can only view two graphs at a time
