3.2 Qualitative System Characteristics

3.2.1 Security and Privacy

Information regarding the teacher must have only the allowed information viewable to the public.  The Central Server passwords and user ids of all the teachers must be kept secure from viewing and modification except by the administrator.   

3.2.2 Simplicity versus Power

On a spectrum of simple-to-use versus powerful, the Scheduling Tool leans slightly to the side of simple-to-use.  Users are only assumed to know a moderate level of computers and data entry.  The Scheduling tool is very intuitive with the layout of the graphical user interface and level of complexity to perform an action.
