2.3.3 Finding a Course

The user has the option to sort by column, simply by clicking on one of the identifiers on the top bar. The user has clicked the 'Description' identifier, and the course list is sorted in ascending order by the letters in the course description, as shown in Figure 2.3.3-1.

The user also has the option to filter through the Courses window, as shown in Figure 2.3.3-2.

The user has chosen to 'Filter by' 'Title'. The user types in parts of the string, the list is filtered real time, and only the courses which fit the search are shown. The user types in the string "CPE 1", the list is updated, and only the courses with a title beginning with the "CPE 1" are displayed.
