1.5.2. Quiz Star

Quiz Star is a simple on line test maker designed to help teachers build digital tests, and store results online. Quiz Star is a very intuitive program. When browsing to the website, users see links to the teacher login page. From here teachers can easily make a user account, and start making tests from the Quiz Manager tab. A test can be made by a beginner in about 10 minutes.

New Features

·         fully on line, keep track of student scores on line

·         support for multiple choice, short answer, and true false questions

·         allows test taking time limits

·         media based attachments are allowed (pictures, audio)

·         public and private test group registration

·         can give feedback after an incorrect answer, or at the end of a test.

Bad Features

·         costs money after 60 days

·         confusing test making interface

·         hard to attach scores to a known student account (students can create a new email and retake the test).

Missing features

·         Can't do keyword style short answer grading

·         Can't store questions in a database for later use

·         Can't use deployment location's authentication
