2.5.2.5 Grading a Fill in the Blank Question

For navigation and other common window operations, see Grading a Free Response Question.

Automatic grading of a fill in the blank question works in much the same way as grading a free response question. The Test Tool identifies predefined keywords and Bad Words in the test taker's answer. Since fill in the blank answers typically consist of few words, if any of the Bad Words appear in the test taker's answer, the question is judged as incorrect. If no keywords and no Bad Words appear in the test taker's answer, point assignment is left up to the grading user.
