If the instructor wishes to narrow down the database to questions containing specific keywords, they may do so in the "Narrow Down Results" field. Upon clicking submit, the system updates the database view as shown in Figure 2.2.7.3.

To select a question to be added to the test, the instructor simply checks a box next to the questions to be added. Upon clicking the "add to test" button, the selected questions will be added to the "Add to Test" queue where the actual test can be refined. Figure 2.2.7.4 shows three selected questions in the question database. Figure 2.2.7.5 shows the three selected questions after they have been added to the "Added Questions Queue."

If the instructor chooses to remove questions from the queue, the instructor simply selects checkboxes in the queue as shown in Figure 2.2.7.6 and clicks the "Delete Selected Questions From The Test" button and they will be returned to the question database as shown in Figure 2.2.7.7.

Figure 2.2.7.7: A selected question is removed from the queue and returned to the question database. The queue now contains three test questions.

Once the instructor has finished selecting questions to add to the test, the instructor simply selects the "Create Test" button. The system will generate a test with the selected questions and return the user to the Test Generator screen where the instructor can add additional attributes and change the order of the exam questions.
