The interface as it appears to students is identical to the teacher interface, except the following features are disabled:

• Any modification of the class structure or list of students
  • Adding or removing sections
  • Adding or removing groups
  • Adding or removing students
  • Updating the student roster
• Any modification of the grade hierarchy
  • Adding or removing categories
  • Adding or removing grade items
  • Splitting existing categories or grade items into categories
• Uploading grades
• Viewing other students' names, ID numbers, or other information

In addition, the row corresponding to the student viewing the gradebook is hilighted in the student interface.

The interface for instructors and teacher assistants is depicted in Figure 1. The interface for students is depicted in Figure 2.
