In 2006, cisterns outside the Natural History Museum of the Citadel was explored. Interesting patterns can be seen on the walls. It is unclear if this cistern connects with one of the blocked passageways from the cistern inside the Citadel. Several questions remain unanswered including: What are the objects piled-up at the back of one of the branching chambers? How long have those objects been there? What is the general shape of this cistern, and how far does it go? What is the mushroom-like artifact at the entry to one of the passageways? In this cistern, the VideoRay thrusters were used to remove sediment from some of the buried artifacts. Videos of what the robot saw can be found here and here.
