The description of system personnel defines all of the people involved with the system and its development. Personnel categories include some or all of the following:
End users are those who use E-Class for its intended purpose. The end users are either students, guests, or instructors. Students and guests are users that use the tool to attend classes and manage class materials. Instructors are users that use the tool to teach classes and manage E-Class sessions and materials.
The primary customer is Gene Fisher. He is customer representative for his faculty and staff colleagues in the Computer Science Department at the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. In this representative capacity, Fisher will consult with other potential customers to gather requirements from them, and integrate their requirements with his own. Gene Fisher also serves as our domain expert.
The primary system developers are The Null Terminators. Their development activities are all those of the software development process, from requirements analysis through product implementation and deployment. They will also conduct the ongoing process activities of testing, configuration, documentation, and project management.
