1.1. Problem Statement
As technology has evolved over the past years, so too have classrooms and the
needs of students learning in those classrooms. E-Class is an electronic classroom tool that allows instructors
to meet the needs of students while helping make classes easier to manage.
E-Class addresses the following problems:
- Lack of ability for students and instructors to efficiently interact and
collaborate
- Lack of integrated repositories for classroom materials
These are some features to address those issues:
- Ability to attend class from home
- Collaborative “whiteboards”
- Environments for group projects
- Instructors having the ability to control students’ computer usage
- Easily accessible learning materials
