1.5. Related Systems

There are numerous software applications designed to keep track of student grades, and allow students to observe their grades and assignments, in the list below. The final program in the list is not designed to organize school work data, but has the capability to do so at a low level.

Each of these applications has a process to organize editable student data. The Grader Tool will have a subset of features from each application. When considering which feature to implement in the Grader Tool, the feature will be assessed based on obtaining one of three main goals:

Certain software systems touch upon each respective goal in their own way and with their own set of features. Certain features are implemented cleanly in some applications and poorly in others.
