There is one main operational setting for the Grader Tool: providing a useable, feature-rich grading tool. The Grader Tool is being designed for the Cal Poly computer science department but is intended to be useable in any academic environment. The setting for which it is suited is any classroom setting where storage and viewing of grades is needed.

There is a single primary customer for the Grader Tool and he is representative of customers at any university department. As such, the requirements for our tool will reflect the requirements of the customer base in general. Given the desire to release a general-purpose grading tool, the customer has ensured not to require specific settings, but has suggested features that can be useful in all forms of education.
