This document defines requirements for an electronic Grader Tool. The tool provides functions to manage grades in the classroom environment for individual students. Educators use the Grader Tool to enter grades, adjust categories, and manage statistics in many different ways. Students use the Grader Tool program to view only their grades, predict their future grades based on assignments or exams, and analyze statistics of their entire class.
In addition to providing useful functionality, the Grader Tool serves as a pedagogical example of software engineering concepts and principles. The software development artifacts for the Grader Tool are considered part of the overall Grader Tool package.
