2.7.1 Viewing Grades

Once the student has logged in, as described in section 2.8.1 and the professor has published grades, the student can access the Student View.

Figure a: Published Grades

The Edit menu contains commands for undo and redo. The help menu contains useful information on using the grader.

The table of graded items can be expanded and collapsed, just as in the professor view. The table is also fully modifiable, and can be used for grade prediction. The histogram displays the students performance relative to the rest of the class, and the overall grade distribution. To show statistics, the user simply checks the show statistics box, as in the Instructor View. Lastly, the pie chart can be manipulated, and is another tool for the student to evaluate the grade distribution.

The table of graded assignments is fully modifiable, and the charts reflect any changes that the user makes.

This allows the student the ability to predict their grades in two ways.
