2.6.3 Prediction with Graphs

This scenario will show a student how he/she can predict thier grade. The histogram for the students is the same as the teachers except that the changes they make are only locally and will not change the grading scheme of the grades permnamently. They also can change the pie chart to predict thier griade.

To use the Histogram as a student the student must first have a grading threshold setup. The teacher will most likly already have this done. If the grading threshold is already set the student must open the histogram window. There will be an alert window warning the student that his/her changes are not permnament. The student then goes to the histogram and adjusts the grade by dragging the dropping the grade bar to the percent he/she thinks the teacher will give them. This will update the grade sheet, and the current grade threshold. This change is only locally and will not affect other students at all. After the student may redownload the current grading threshold to revert the graph to what the teacher set.
