1.5.1. GradeWrite 2.0
GradeWrite 2.0 is a grader program for Windows and Apple machines. It is an update of an older version which has a good set of basic functions to store grades and students. It also has a wonderful analysis lab which is used to show and analyze grades graphically. It has a set of tools to add standards and to modify the grade scale.
Good Features:
- Multiple classes open at once
- Import/Export class data
- Program automatically backs up
- Flexible grading scale
- Histograms/Bar graph/Pie charts
- Predicts students grades
Bad Features:
- Provides only one way to print grades.
- Very clumsy interface to add new classes and students.
- Unable to collapse items.
- Unable to customize items.
- Late policy is not flexible.
- Too many windows stay open at one time.
- No way to modify classes or attendance.
Missing Features
- No option to search for students.
- No network functionality.
- Unable to drop lowest grade.
- Unable to modify grades graphically.
- No tabbed browsing.
- No sorting.
- No student notification.
- No options to block views of assignments.
