This document defines requirements for a Grader Tool. The tool provides functions to manage student’s grades and student enrollment for instructors. Instructors may analyze student’s grades graphically to view the performance of the class. Students may submit work online, view grades, and see how their grades would change by the “What if” tool.
In addition to providing useful functionality, the Grader Tool serves as a pedagogical example of software engineering concepts and principles. The software development artifacts for the Grader tool are considered part of the overall Grader Tool package.
