The personnel involved in the Scheduler project are organized into the following groups and subgroups:

a.       End Users

                                i.            Department Scheduler Administrator

                              ii.            Instructors

                              iiI.            Students

b.      System Developers

The main end user is the administrator who does the scheduling in the department.  They use this program to generate the schedule and adjust it as necessary.  The other major users are instructors.  They will use it to input their preferences with such things as what classes they’d like to teach and when they’d like to teach them, so that this scheduling program can produce a fair schedule according to the instructors' preferences.

The primary system developers for this scheduling project are Software Engineering students at Cal Poly - Professor Fisher being their instructor.  The main students on this project are Justin Phillip, Vinay Anantharaman, Alex Kort, Alex Rudd, and Jonathan Davis.

Students are also be affected by this program. They can use it to see schedules in development and give suggestions with regards to which classes should be sheduled and what has and hasn't worked for them with past schedules.
