1.5.4 Test Generator
Test Generator is a test creation, administrator and test taking application.
Tests can be printed or taken on-line through a web application. The tool supports
test generation, grading, grading reports, users (students, instructors, admins),
a web test taking tool and a MS Windows test taking program.
The program is very good. It has many nice options, however, it lacks the
ability to have code questions and efficient sharing of questions among
different teachers is not possible.
Good features
- 4 types of users including one System Administrator,
multiple non-system Administrators, Authors and Students
- Ten question types including Point and Click, Numeric
and Likert style questions
- Supports math functions and scientific notation
- Provides many feedback options for system and/or user like:

as well as statistical analysis on student

Bad features
- Test navigation is restricted to forward only and the
Summary (Q-List) button is disabled during testing. The test taker can
change their answer as long as they remain on the same question screen.
Once they navigate to another question, they can't change the previous
question.

- Code question/IDE integration
- Ability to embed graphs
- Grading capabilities
- Free drawing questions
