There are three user interfaces to the Scheduler Tool. The primary interface is for scheduling administrators to manage resources and preferences in order to generate schedules. A "scheduling administrator" is defined as a registered user with special administrative privileges. A separate interface is provided for instructors to maintain their course and time preferences, as well as view published schedules. A third interface allows for students to view published schedules.
All of the necessary commands in a drop down "File and Edit" command menu can be found as simple keyboard shortcuts in Section 2.1.4.
When the user initially invokes the Scheduler tool, the login screen appears as shown
in Figure UIO-1. The user is prompted to enter their cal poly user ID and password and is given the option to remember their login information.
