The positive impacts for the Electronic Classroom tool are an increase
in efficiency. The instructor should have a cleaner
and more customizable lecturing experience
because of the tool. Less time spent building lectures means the lecturer
can commit more time to other activities.
Also, there is no use of paper, so the Electronic
Classroom is green. Another benefit is the ability for students to access
lecture both from outside of class and after the lecture. This allows
students to have a more flexible schedule.
The negative impacts include limited access. Access is limited
because students are required to use a computer or be in a computer lab.
There's also the potential for technical issues to hinder
use based on the reliability of the software. If the program
crashes then the lecture cannot happen.
