The scenario in this section illustrates what happens when a schedule is generated and there are not enough rooms available to the department to cover all of the classes offered. This happens when there are too many courses offered during the same time period and not enough classrooms to accomdate them, or when the number of courses offered exceeds the number of rooms readily available to the department for use. When this happens, the Location for a given class become TBA, as shown in Figure 1.
