2.3.4. Editing a test

The scenario in this section illustrates an individual user editing a test.

When the user selects Edit Test from the Manage Tests menu, the system displays the dialog shown in Figure 8.

Figure 9 shows an existing test.

The user may alter name, difficulty, length, and labels.
The user may raise and lower question positions using the raise question and lower question buttons, respectively.
The user may remove a question by selecting a question from the list and pressing remove question.

Adding a question opens the question bank dialog as shown in Figure 10

A populated test editing dialog is shown in Figure 10.
The test's name has been altered.
The test's difficulty has been altered.
Question 5 has been raised and is now question 4, whereas question 4 has become question 5.

The user may click generate to re-generate the test based on the basic parameters (difficulty, length, and labels).
Only questions having all the labels and falling within the generation settings will be chosen.
The same questions may be chosen due to the random nature of test generation.

Confirming changes to the test will return the user to the manage tests menu and the selected test will be updated.
