This document defines requirements for an electronic Grader Tool. The tool provides functions that allow a professor to manage their grade book and also allow students to view their grades. Professors can use the Grader Tool to both manage and view their gradebook in a variety of useful ways. They are also able to utilize other administrative functions such as electronic submission of grades.
In addition to providing useful functionality, the Grader Tool serves as a pedagogical example of software engineering concepts and principles. The software development artifacts for the Grader tool are considered part of the overall Grader Tool package.
