A key feature of this application is its ability to prepare lecture material. This is accomplished through the editor. The editor can be opened or viewed by using the menubar. "View→Editor" toggles the editor's visibility, and "Create→New" opens a new empty lecture for the user to work on. If a lecture has already been loaded (either a work in a progress or through the "File→Open..." menu item), then the editor window will show the lecture contents, otherwise a blank lecture will be shown. Only one lecture may be loaded at a time.
