2.8.2 Enroll to a Course

Course enrollment is a simple process. After the user creates an account with the E-Class application they then need to enroll in a course. From the login window the user press the 'Enroll in a New Course' button, however, to enroll into a course a user needs to know the course ID, their username, and their password to fill out the form presented below.

A filled out enrollment form is shown below.

As the 'enroll' button is depressed all the information given is checked with the E-Class database. If information given is inconsistent with the E-Class database the user is prompted to re-enter their information. However if the information is valid the administrator of the course ID is sent an email containing information on the user attempting to enroll. The instructor can then choose whether or not to let the user enroll in the course. After this step is complete the user can now log in to the E-Class application and view any public course data.
