This document defines requirements for a Resource Scheduler. The tool provides functions to develop functional room, class, and teacher schedules for large organizations and to view such information in a variety of useful ways. Administrative users input resources to schedule and run a mix of automated and manual scheduling. Other users will be able to add perferences and view results.
In addition to providing useful functionality, the Resource Scheduler serves as a pedagogical example of software engineering concepts and principles. The software development artifacts for the Resource Scheduler tool are considered part of the overall Resource Scheduler package.
