Unit
Test Procedure.
The
developer is to compile any code that is written. Any errors that are found at this time
are to be fixed. This process is repeated until there are
no compile errors.
The
developer is then required to place the modules in their own copy
of the newest build. They are then to compile the full project
to ensure there are no conflicts with the new code. If any confilcts arise they are to fix
these conflicts. This step is repeated until there are
no conflicts and the code compiles as it should.
The
developer will also run the new code to make sure the new feature
works according to the requirments. The developer will then introduce the
new modules into the main build. The developer must also inform the test
team (by e-mail, phone, or any other means) that the new module
is in place and give them a set of test to preform. The tester will preform these test, plus
any others they feel are necessary.
