To manage student synchronizing, adding, and exporting, the instructor user clicks 'Tools' from the main menu bar, and then 'Manage Students'. In response, the system displays a dialog of the form shown in

Initial Student Management View.

Note: If this is the initial import, a tool tip announces that the auto-complete feature is unavailable because the Network import feature has not been setup.

The scenarios in this section assumes that a class is in the process of being created or has already been created. They show an instructor-user importing and exporting student data:
