2.3.2. Navigating the Lecture

The ability to navigate through the lecture is necessary for an interactive instructor-student experience. To facilitate this navigation two viewing modes are avaiable, Continuous and Slide mode. Continuous mode does not have any slides, as the lecture is dynamically navigated. Slide mode is much more like a classic slide presentation, with the lecture divided into multiple, physical slides. Each mode uses the same navigation buttons, seen in Figure 2.3.4a, but with a different outcome on the lecture. Further detailed explaination of the two modes and their composition can be found in section 2.4.3.
