1. Introduction

The Electronic Class Scheduler provides convenient, yet thorough interface for scheduling classes for the Computer Science Department California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo. This software helps design a schedule of classes for each term, as well as an editing interface where a user can modify the schedule in a variety of ways. In addition to this, the Electronic Class Scheduler manages databases for courses, classrooms, and instructors. Instructors are able to modify their information and input their class and schedule preferences for each term.

This software allows students and faculty to view the class schedules of current and upcoming terms. Also, multiple class schedules can be maintained at the same time so users can create schedules for quarters to come. All of these features are available through a straightforward and secure interface that allows easy and effective class scheduling.
