1.5. Related Systems

Common class scheduling tools used by colleges and universities to schedule classes include:

• Cyber Matrix
• Lantiv Timetabler
• Class Scheduler
• Knowledge Bridge
• EZ Scheduler

Each of these tools provides many features for generating a class scheduler. The goal for our Scheduler is to implement all the standard features, leave out the frills in some of the other tools, and to provide a few extra features. These features include:

1. Faculty preferences on day and time of their scheduled classes
2. Feedback forum for students and faculty
3. A way to have a centralized schedule that more than one person can work on
