2. Functional Requirements

The primary functionality of the Scheduling Tool is for scheduling class times for instructors on a university wide level. Databases for permanent instructor, class, room, and preferences are created by a scheduling administrator while instructors are allowed to modify their own personal preferences and class associations. Once all of the databases have been created and the instructors have committed their modifications, the administrator is able to Generate a schedule and make post-generation tweaks as necessary.
